By accessing or using our website, https://companhiadaslimpezas.com (“Website”), and/or by contracting our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our Website or contract our services.

2. Scope of Services

Companhia das Limpezas provides the following services:

• Property clearance (houses, apartments, offices, warehouses)
• Clearance following bereavement or inheritance
• Technical and extreme cleaning
• Diogenes Syndrome cleaning
• Collection of furniture, appliances, and bulky items
• Rubble and waste collection
• Disinfection and sanitization of spaces
• Post-construction, post-fire, and post-flood cleaning
• Minor property repairs

3. Quotations and Pricing

3.1. Quotations are free and can be requested via photographs or videos sent by the customer.

3.2. The quotation presented is valid for 30 days from the date of issue.

3.3. Prices include labor, transport, and legal waste disposal, unless otherwise indicated.

3.4. The final price may change if the conditions found on-site differ significantly from the information provided by the customer.

4. Service Execution

4.1. Services are performed by professional teams with experience in the field.

4.2. Companhia das Limpezas commits to:

• Execute the service with diligence and professionalism
• Respect the customer’s property and that of third parties
• Comply with all applicable environmental regulations
• Send waste to legally authorized destinations
• Provide environmental documentation when requested

4.3. The customer commits to:

• Provide access to the location on agreed dates
• Inform about any special conditions or existing risks
• Previously identify objects that should not be removed
• Ensure they have legal authorization to request the service

5. Availability and Response Times

5.1. 24/7 availability in the Lisbon area for urgent situations.

5.2. Response times:

• Emergencies: up to 30 minutes
• Normal requests: 2 to 4 hours

5.3. Execution times depend on the size of the service and will be agreed upon in advance.

6. Payment

6.1. Payment is made at the end of the service, after completion of the work.

6.2. Accepted payment methods: bank transfer, MB Way, cash.

6.3. For larger services, a deposit of up to 30% of the total value may be requested.

7. Cancellations

7.1. The customer may cancel the service without charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled date.

7.2. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a fee of 20% of the quoted value.

7.3. In case of impossibility of execution by Companhia das Limpezas, the customer will be notified as soon as possible and a new date will be proposed.

8. Liability

8.1. Companhia das Limpezas has civil liability insurance.

8.2. We are not responsible for:

• Valuable objects not previously identified by the customer
• Pre-existing damage to the property or its contents
• Delays caused by circumstances beyond our control

8.3. Any complaints must be communicated in writing within 48 hours of service completion.

9. Data Protection

Personal data processing is carried out in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Portuguese legislation. For more information, please see our Privacy Policy.

10. Intellectual Property

All Website content, including texts, images, logos, and design, is the property of Companhia das Limpezas and is protected by copyright. Reproduction without prior authorization is prohibited.

11. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

11.1. These Terms are governed by Portuguese law.

11.2. For dispute resolution, the parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction of Portuguese courts.

11.3. Consumer customers may use alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, under Law No. 144/2015.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes become effective upon publication on the Website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Final Provisions

13.1. If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in force.

13.2. Tolerance of any breach does not constitute waiver of rights under these Terms.
